Bitteroot Fishing Report – 3/25

L-11

Looks like we’re off and runnin’ for dryfly season 2016! We’re seeing more and more bugs every day and so are the fish. Pretty much every river in the area is giving up some caliber of topwater action with the Bitterroot leading the way. Any kind of low riding stonefly pattern in about a 10 or 12 will get it done for you right now. Putting on a deep dropper about 18″ below your dry will up your chances considerably. Our out of the gate rig has been a foam skwala with an olive p-tail dropper in a 16. Look for your best fishing to be between about 1 and 4.

***We will be closed on Monday March 28th for construction***
