Bitteroot Fishing Report – 6/28

L-57

The Bitterroot is still holding decent flows with a flow around 2400cfs and good clarity. The fishing on the East and West Fork has been a good option with the colder water and lower flows and the morning and evening fishing has been great. As with everything, it’s standard summer fare. Dry/dropper or picking off the risers. For dries, use PMDs, drakes, yellow sallies, caddis, Golden stones, hoppers, and other attractor patterns. For nymphs, use pheasant tails, caddis pupae, mayflies, small micro stones and Pat’s rubber legs. For Streamers use dark bodied buggers and sculpin patterns.
