Bitteroot Fishing Report – 7/23

Guided Fishing Clark Fork River

S-25

The Bitterroot, particularly on the upper stretches like the West Fork, have been fishing very well, with a lot of action on top. With the flows continuing to drop, the wade fishing is getting better and better. For dries, use BWOs, PMDs, green drakes, yellow sallies, caddis, Golden stones and other attractor patterns. For nymphs, use pheasant tails, caddis pupae, scuds, small micro stones and Pat’s rubber legs. For Streamers use dark bodied buggers and sculpin patterns. Have a good weekend!!

HATCHES/Flies: Caddis, BWOs, Golden Stones, Baetis, PMDs, yellow sallies
