Missouri River Fishing Report - 3/27

The Bitteroot has bumped up a bit in flows the past couple days but, should still fish fine. Tricos have been happening from about 9am-11and fish are starting to key on them. Baetis are also starting to show up on the lower root. Fishing a hopper-dropper through the afternoon will keep you busy until the evening hatch comes off. Purple more-or-less hopper, peach yeti hopper, tan mongo hopper, and a green chubby are all good options for hoppers. Have a fun weekend!

HATCHES/Flies: Tricos, PMDs, caddis, yellow sallies, hoppers. Dark, heavy nymphs for subsurface. JJ’s specials, articulated streamers, bead-head woolly buggers.
