Bitterroot Fishing Report – 11/9

Pike Fishing Missoula

Blackfoot River Fishing Report - 4/19

The bird hunting should get awesome this week with the front moving in, but the fishing will undoubtedly suffer. It’s going to be really cold, so if you do any fishing, it should be subsurface. For dry flies, use parachute adams, October caddis, tricos, BWOs, baetis, and attractors. For nymphs, use prince nymphs, copper Johns, micro mayflies, caddis pupae, san juan worms, etc. For streamers, use black, olive, rust, and yellow patterns.

HATCHES/Flies: Hecubas, tricos, mahoganies, caddis, BWOs. Dark, heavy nymphs for subsurface. JJ’s specials, articulated streamers, bead-head woolly buggers.
