Bitterroot Fishing Report – 4/25

Rock Creek Fishing Report - 3/27

Missouri River Fishing Report - 4/8

The Bitterroot just above town is off color and creeping past 3000cfs with the rain and weather we’ve been having.  The back and side channels are going to be your best bet with the conditions, but you can still find some fish in the main channel.  Fishing streamers and tandem nymph rigs will be your best bet with Pheasant tails, Egg patterns, San Juan worms, Double beaded stones, Pat’s rubber legs, Red fox squirrels, and hares ear nymphs. For streamers use flash fries, sparkle minnows, yellow yummies, sculpzillas, and mouthwashes. The streamers have been fishing best with short strips off the banks.

HATCHES/Flies: Midges, skwalas, a few March browns and some blue wings. A Review of the Winston Fly Rod For more info on the Winston Nexus Fly Rod
