Beginning in April, once a week we will post a brief description of a rig we saw during the previous week that had one of our Kingfisher stickers on the window. When you recognize it as being your car described in our hatch report, stop into the shop and pick out 2 dozen nymphs or dries on us!!

The Bitterroot is toast.  You’re better off heading in the direction of a lake or pond.  If you insist on fishing, throw nymphs and keep them deep. Lake Como, Painted Rocks, and other lakes and reservoirs are also available for some still water action. Small, dark Woolly Buggers, scuds or pheasant tails under an indicator, and parachute adams and Goddard caddis on top should all be good bets.
