Bitterroot Fishing Report – 6/26

Rock Creek Fishing Report - 3/27

L-DSCN1125

The Bitterroot’s water temps have been hanging in the 60’s with the flows dropping to a more than wade-able level.  The PED and caddis fishing in the evenings has been great, and the PMD spinner falls in the mornings have also been noteworthy but the mid day has been a little slow with the high sun.  Fishing hopper/dropper rigs has definitely been the best option mid-day but streamers have pulled some pigs as well.  For dries, use PMDs, drakes, yellow sallies, caddis, Golden stones and other attractor patterns. For nymphs, use pheasant tails, caddis pupae, scuds, small micro stones and Pat’s rubber legs. For Streamers use dark bodied buggers and sculpin patterns.
