Bitterroot Fishing Report – 6/10

Guided Fly Fishing Bitterroot river

Of the local rivers, The Bitterroot is taking the longest to even out and come into fishing shape. That being said, if you’re willing to drive to the upper stretches, you can turn some fish if you work for them. Water is still dropping, and we could see productivity get pretty good here in the next couple weeks. Hitting some of the lakes in the area is still a good bet. Hit those with small, dark Woolly Buggers, scuds or pheasant tails under an indicator, and parachute adams and Goddard caddis on top.
