Bitterroot Fishing Report – 7/19

Rock Creek Fishing Report - 4/10

Bitterroot Fishing Report - 4/10

Bitterroot flows are still on a steady drop, which means the wade fishing will keep getting better. Mornings and evenings have been fishing the best for dry fly action, but a dry/dropper rig during the middle hours of the day will turn some fish. For dries, use golden stones, PMDs, green drakes, yellow sallies, caddis, and other attractor patterns. For nymphs, use pheasant tails, caddis pupae, scuds, small micro stones and Pat’s rubber legs. For Streamers use dark bodied buggers and sculpin patterns.

Weekend Fishing Tunes: Braid, No Coast

The first album in 16 years from these post-punk veterans is well worth the wait.

HATCHES/Flies: Golden Stones, PMDs, caddis, yellow sallies. Dark, heavy nymphs for subsurface. JJ’s specials, articulated streamers, bead-head woolly buggers.
