Bitterroot River Fishing Report - Guided Fly fishing Bitterroot river Montana

The Bitterroot is living a very protean existence at the moment. If you get it on the right day, it can be really great. Other days… not so much. There’s hope that it will even out here as the summer moves along. For dries, use PMDs, drakes, yellow sallies, caddis, Golden stones and other attractor patterns. For nymphs, use pheasant tails, caddis pupae, scuds, small micro stones and Pat’s rubber legs. For Streamers use dark bodied buggers and sculpin patterns.
