It’s going to be GOOD up here today pretty much river-wide.  While the first day of bright sun would normally stall the action for a day or two, the fact that the river still has some color to the water from runoff will compensate at bit.  Expect good fishing with golden stones, big mayfly patterns and then the later in the afternoon caddis blizzard which will go on into the evening.  There are still salmonflies kicking around on the uppermost river above the forks, but even up high, the fish are more focused on the smaller Bitterroot stones and more prolific hatches..
