Bitterroot Report – 7/6

DSCN415981 degrees today instead of 101 will feel damn near chilly!  It’ll help your fishing, too, by slowing down the water temperature increases.  Flows area wide continue to plummet and most of the rivers are peaking in the high 60 degree range these days. The upper and lower river is fishing pretty well midday, for now, but the lower river has been tough in the sun.  Hoppers, golden stones, PMD, ants have all been effective midday. Caddis and rusty spinners are the name of the game in the evening.
