 The flow on the Blackfoot is around 1530 cfs at Bonner and the clarity is about 2 feet. With the warmer days and nights we had combined with the rain from yesterday, the flows on the Blackfoot are taking off. The river is by no means totally blown out, but the fish will be displaced from their usual holds. You can expect to find the fish tight to the banks and in any back channels and side pockets you come across. Pheasant tails, Pat’s rubber legs, amber princes, jigstones, flashback copper johns, San Juan worms and breadcrusts are all good bets underneath.
