The flows have dropped HARD and the fish are chowing. Fishing sub surface has been really good, but the afternoons have provided good opportunities for dry fly fishing. Salmonflies have been pretty thick on the upper end. Green drakes, PMD’s, and golden stones have all joined the party as well. For dry flies use a royal chubby, hippie stomper, elk hair caddis, rogue stone, film critics, flushfloater or a purple haze. For nymphs use big rubber legs, San Juan worms, bread crusts, purple princes, and double bead stones. For streamers use sex dungeons, sparkle minnows, and haymaker sculpins.
