Blackfoot Fishing Report – 8/10

L-70

Hoot owl restrictions are now lifted

The Blackfoot has seen a little bump from the rain we have been having but, clarity is still good. Streamers and big attractor patterns are the go-to bugs at this point although the caddis are hugely relevant towards the end of the day. Black terrestrials have also been the ticket for mid day. Hopper/ant or p-tail dropper rigs have also been very effective. The tube/bikini hatch should be pretty minimal so, its a good day to get out!

HATCHES: caddis, PMDs, yellow sallies, hoppers and spruce moths – terrestrials in general

PATTERNS: More-or-less hopper, royal hippie stomper, chernobyl juicy bug, ant-acid, purple haze, rocky mountain mint, autumn splendor, sculpzilla, boogie man, zoo cougar, and sex dungeons.
