Blackfoot Report – 10/2

Flows are relatively stable up here and the fishing’s been decent.  Not much to speak of with topwater stuff, but nymphing and streamers have been getting it done.  You may have a bit better shot at dryflies today with the break in the front passing through, but expect it to be windy again with less rain.  Batman nymphs leggy double beaded stones and red San Juans have been fishing the best for us.  The streamer action has been so-so, but they definitely seem to be looking for yellow/brown combinations.  With snow in the forecast for tomorrow, today is looking pretty good by comparison.
