Blackfoot Report – 5/22

mfcflyboxesjpg

The flows up here have stabilized a bit, but it’s still not a contender.  The color is  ugly and will likely stay that way with at least a few more flow bumps on the way.  The cooler days and nights on tap for the next 4 or 5 days will mellow flows even more if the rain isn’t too heavy.  Even with lots of rain, the bumps won’t reach the levels we’ve already seen. Get to tying or buying (while you still can), because this river is just around the corner from salmonfly and green drake happiness!
