Blackfoot report – 5/4

BS-s-2The wind may be a bit of a pain up here today, but conditions still look good to do well with oversized dries (para Adams, Para Xs) and of course, streamers.  Look for darker bodied junk to work best for you in the overcast conditions. Hanging red San Juans 20″ under your dries (or even short trailed behind your streamers on heavier tippet) will be a good way to prospect on top and subsurface at the same time.  With any kind of warm-up, look for the afternoon caddis to wake things up even more.
