Blackfoot Report – 6/9

S-8It’s up about 500 cfs in the past 2 days and will likely waffle up, then back down a bit more today.  No major pushed of water will arrive due to the heat, (the main push peaked on May 14th), but it will fluctuate enough to keep the fish off their game – at least on top.  You may still find some success with big stonefly nymphs and slow moving streamers and once the big orange bugs come off, fluctuations like this won’t matter.  They do matter now.  At least for today, Rock Creek, the upper Clark or the Mo are better options.

1/2 OFF Fridays.  50% Off your 1st dozen nymphs and dries!  Every Friday – Every Week
