Blackfoot River Fishing Report – 5/29

Rock Creek Fishing Report - 4/10

L-DSCN4035

Beginning in April, once a week we will post a brief description of a rig we saw during the previous week that had one of our Kingfisher stickers on the window. When you recognize it as being your car described in our hatch report, stop into the shop and pick out 2 dozen nymphs or dries on us!!

With the cooler days we’ve been having the Blackfoot is starting to slowly drop.  The flow at Bonner is dropping past 10,000 cfs but still a non-option.  There’s a lot of good options in this direction.  Blanchard Lake, Harpers Lake, Seeley Lake and Salmon Lake all hold some good fish.  Take some Woolly Buggers and assorted nymph patterns. A parachute adams, purple hazes or Goddard caddis’ should work on top. Have some longer leaders with you if you’re fishing still water.
