Blackfoot River Fishing Report – 7/10

L-LS-3

The Blackfoot has been fishing very well the last couple of days and with the warmer weather on tap, you can expect to see some great wading opportunities.  With the drop in flow you should start seeing the fish move off the banks and into their deeper holds mid-river, so be prepared to switch up from your spring fishing style.  For dries use Chernobyls, Stimulators, Rogue stones, half downs, bullet heads, parachute adams, purple hazes and elk hair caddis. For nymphs use Pat’s rubber legs, princes, double beaded stones, micro stones, San Juan worms and batman nymphs. For streamers use big dark double bunnies, sculpzillas, mouthwashes, standard buggers, sparkle minnows and dark articulated patterns.
