Blackfoot River Fishing Report – 9/6

Guided Float trips on the Missouri with The Kingfisher Fly Shop

 Clarkfork fishing report - 4/1

This time of year, people are all worked up about hunting, so it can be a little easier to find yourself alone on the water. The streamer fishing on the Blackfoot is starting to get hot. For dries use tricos, big PMDs, BWOs, elk hair caddis, hoppers, Chernobyls, Stimulators, half downs, bullet heads, parachute adams, and purple hazes. For nymphs use Pat’s rubber legs, princes, double beaded stones, micro stones, beer head baetis, San Juan worms and batman nymphs. For streamers use big dark double bunnies, sculpzillas, mouthwashes, standard buggers, sparkle minnows and dark articulated patterns.
