Streamers! Streamers! Streamers! The Fish are definitely chasing the meat now that it’s cooled down a bit. The smoke is totally gone from the rain and the flows are extremely wadeable right now. For streamers toss big heavy articulated junk like dalai lamas and dungeons. Big sculpin patterns and double bunnies are excellent bets too. For dries in the morning use BWOs, PMDs, Mahoganies, And Hecubas. Hopper dropper rigs in the afternoon are the way to go till the caddis hatch starts. For the last hour of the day toss smaller elk hair caddis, goddards, Swisher’s caddis, and sparkle pupaes on the swing. The weather has been excellent and so has the bug action, it’s finally that great time of year we all wait for.
