Clark Fork 6/7

Kingfisher Customer Ty Rodgers on the Blackfoot 4/8

REPORT:

The Clark is recovering from the bump of a couple of days ago. At this point, the flow increases are down around St Regis with the rest of the river dropping. The lower river bump likely isn’t enough to put much of a damper on the fishing, especially the very good evening caddis action we’ve been getting down there.  WIND, however, may be your biggest problem down there today. The lower river has been seeing good stonefly activity with both giant goldens AND salmonflies on the warmer days.  The pike have been on the bite below town, too, and big browns have been playing way down low on the river and then sections way above Missoula as well.  The uppermost river should be a good option today.
