Clark Fork Fishing Report – 4/23

L-67

The Clark Fork is still climbing at a pretty steady pace. Streamer fishing has been pretty productive. In select areas the dry fly fishing has been OK. For dries try, big brindle chutes, olive and purple chubbies, carnage drakes, and foamulators have been working well. For subsurface patterns use crown jewels, p-tails, rubber legs, San Juan worms (every flavor), purple princes, and copper johns.  If you’re looking for some bigger fish, streamers have been the name of the game. Use sculpzillas, JJ sprecials, double gongas, or buggers.

HATCHES: March browns, skwalas, grey drakes, baetis
