Clark Fork Fishing Report – 5/13

L-52

The Clark Fork is still relatively high and off color despite the recent drop in flows. The flow in town is around 5690 cfs.The fishing in the main channel remains poor but if you can sneak in downstream of a clear flowing tributary you can stand a decent chance. The upper sections are going to be a little more manageable if you can make the drive up there. It’s going to be a streamer and nymph game. Pheasant tails, Pat’s rubber legs, supermans, bread crusts, jig stones, San Juan worms and north fork specials are all good bets underneath.

HATCHES: skwalas, green drakes, baetis, salmon flies?
