Clark Fork Fishing Report – 5/20

L-57

The Clark Fork is still relatively high but, you can still get it done on the right day. The flow in town is around 4710 cfs. Fishing caddis and drakes in the evening has been good in select water. Salmonflies have been spotted on the lower river, but pretty sporadic. The upper sections are going to be a little more manageable if you can make the drive up there. It’s going to be a streamer and nymph game during mid day. Pheasant tails, Pat’s rubber legs, supermans, bread crusts, jig stones, San Juan worms and north fork specials are all good bets underneath.

HATCHES: skwalas, green drakes, baetis, salmon flies?
