Clark Fork Fishing Report – 6/24

L-4REPORT:

The Clark Fork has been fishing like the Clark of old lately and that’s a VERY good thing! It’s been awhile. Blizzard hatches on the upper and lower river are keeping the fish looking to the surface HUGE from about 11 right up until dark on the warm evenings anyway. More like until about 5 in the cloudy cooler weather. The morning are fishing extremely well with nymph rigs that include brown rubberlegs, prince nymphs and batman type stuff. Once noon hits, well presented golden stones, PMDs or green drakes will tag you fish all day long. Get it while its good folks!

HATCHES: goldenstones, drakes, PMDs, caddis, even a few hoppers on the warm afternoons.

Other Info: Buy a bottle of Kingfisher brand fly floatant and we’ll refill it for you for 1 measly dollar all year long!
