Clark Fork River Fishing Report – 10/11

matt-16-L

The streamer fishing is good on the Clark Fork throughout the whole river, but consistency is coming from the upper end. Today should be cooler than the last few days. Also, keep in mind that things might bump a small amount from the rain last night. For dries, use rusty spinners in the evening, elk hair and Goddard caddis in the evening, tricos, mayfly duns and cripples, BWOs, small attractor patterns. For nymphs, use Pat’s rubber legs, micro stones, prince nymphs, double beaded stones, San Juan worms, caddis pupae, Pheasant tails and batman nymphs. For streamers, use black, olive, or yellow/rust combinations.

HATCHES: Hoppers, PMDs, caddis, BWOs, Hecubas, tricos, streamers
