REPORTS:

The Clark Fork is still stabilizing and a little off color.  Our best fishing
has been in back channels and down stream from the mouths of tributaries.
The flow here in town is hanging at 5400 cfs, and looks like it might bump
up a little with today's possibility of rain.  If you head out, 
your best chances are going to be with heavy nymph rigs and streamers. 
the top water action is unlikely, given the weather but I would still bring
a couple midges just in case.  Fish Deep San Juan worms, Dark bodied 
stone fly nymphs, red copper johns, and egg patterns underneath and tight 
to the banks.  If you fish the main channel be careful of debris.

HATCHES: midges, capnias

FLIES: Small prince nymphs, bacon and egg combos (San Juans in tandem with an egg patter), Griffith’s gnats and zebra midges on sunny days, slow moving or jigged rabbit streamers in front of sighted pike.
