Clark Fork River Fishing Report – 4/25

loon-4

The flow on the Clark Fork above town looks like it’s going to creep past 5,000cfs.  The flow below town at St.Regis will probably hit 10,000cfs. With that and the clarity on most the river being far less than ideal you’re probably better off finding other options.  If I can’t talk you out of it though, use subsurface bugs in tandem.  Toss some egg patterns, San Juan worms, Olive double beaded stones, Pat’s rubber legs, Micro stones, Hares ears, and prince nymphs.

HATCHES: March Browns, Skwalas, grey drakes

Other Info: The Kingfisher is the largest dealer of Simms Fishing Products in the Rocky Mountains.
