Clark Fork River Fishing Report – 5/31

Rock Creek Fishing Report - 3/27

Rock Creek Fishing Report - 4/4Beginning in April, once a week we will post a brief description of a rig we saw during the previous week that had one of our Kingfisher stickers on the window. When you recognize it as being your car described in our hatch report, stop into the shop and pick out 2 dozen nymphs or dries on us!!

Both the upper and lower stretches of the Clark Fork are well above historical average flows. Just take a drive through town to see why it isn’t a good option right now. That being said, flows have dropped, especially on the upper end, so if you’re motivated this weekend, it might do something for you. Georgetown Lake and Beavertail Pond are good still water locations in the vicinity. Woolly buggers and scuds under an indicator, parachute adams, purple haze or big Goddard caddis should work on top when fished with a 12ft or longer leader.
