Clark Fork River Fishing Report – 6/16

Guided Fishing Clark Fork River

L-DSCN1967

The Clark Fork flows are on as steady of a drop as you could imagine; straight as an arrow, especially on the lower end. Fishing has been solid throughout the whole river, and the chubby-dropper setup is hard to beat this time of year. For dries, use elk hair and Goddard caddis’ in the evening, attractor patterns, golden rogues, salmon rogues or Gould’s half downs for the morning and afternoon. For nymphs, use Pat’s rubber legs, micro stones, prince nymphs, double beaded stones, San Juan worms, caddis pupae, Pheasant tails and batman nymphs. For streamers, use big black and olive patterns fished tight to the banks.

HATCHES: Drakes, Golden Stones, PMDs, caddis
