Clark Fork River Fishing Report – 6/22

L-3

The Clark Fork is coming into shape, but it’s still a little off from ideal at this point. The sections above town have been fishing decent with streamers and golden stones, but it saw a pretty sizable bump at the end of the week from rain. The lower river is slowly clearing up, and should be worth a shot next week, maybe even this weekend. Use streamers and nymphs and keep your rig tight to the bank.  For streamers use olive or black sculpzillas, JJ’s special, standard buggers, mouthwashes and double bunnies.  For nymphs, use pheasant tails, copper johns, prince nymphs, micro stones and batman nymphs.
