Clark Fork River Fishing Report – 6/24

L-DSCN00014

The Clark Fork is hovering between stationary and slowly rising in cfs, especially on the lower end. The sections above town have been fishing decent with streamers and golden stones. The lower river is trying to clear up and settle down, and should be worth a shot next week, but we’ll see. Use streamers and nymphs and keep your rig tight to the bank. For streamers use olive or black sculpzillas, JJ’s special, standard buggers, mouthwashes and double bunnies. For nymphs, use pheasant tails, copper johns, prince nymphs, micro stones and batman nymphs.

Weekend Fishing Tunes: Weezer, Pinkerton

HATCHES: salmonflies, golden stones, green drakes
