Clark Fork River Fishing Report – 7/31

Guided Float trips on the Missouri with The Kingfisher Fly Shop

Blackfoot River Fishing Report - 4/3

With the summer weather hitting its peak the fishing is still holding strong.  The water temps are still reasonable and the morning and evening fishing has been great. The mid day town fishing has been a little slow with all the innertubers but anywhere above and below town has been worth while.  Attractor dries and dry/dropper rigs (PRINCE NYMPHS) are working really well, along with PMDs, caddis, and yellow sallies when the occasion calls. For dries, use elk hair and Goddard caddis’ in the evening, attractor patterns, golden rogues, chubby chernobyls for the morning and afternoon. For nymphs, use Pat’s rubber legs, micro stones, prince nymphs, double beaded stones, San Juan worms, caddis pupae, Pheasant tails and batman nymphs. For streamers, use big black and olive patterns fished tight to the banks.
