Clark Fork – Tenkara & Morrels

Took my son Leo down to the Clark fork for his first experience with a Tenkara Rod.  For those of you that haven’t fished one, they are a GREAT way to introduce a kid to fly fishing.  They load with ease and you have no line to mess with.  They also teach a young angler to wait and watch rather than trying for more distance.

wulffStarting at about 1:00 there were 3 or 4 different mayflies coming off, but every fish we showed this bug jumped on it. Like the reports said, “over size, over size, OVER size”!!
