We have been having big success blasting rootbeer or black buggers or SMALL sculpin patterns into pods of risers and pulling them back just subsurface. The nymphing remains very productive for racking up large numbers of fish. Scuds, baetis emergers, San Juans, lightening bugs, Ray Charles . . . . you know the drill.
