Missouri Report – 5/22

DSC_0881 The flow below Holter this morning is 4120.  The fishing’s been very, very, VERY good on the Mo recently and it doesn’t matter whether you’re a dryfly, streamer or nymph chucker, it’s all working! Looks like the weather is lining up in your favor too with clouds and little wind in the forecast.  Perfect!!  We’ve been making ’em pay with skwalas, March browns, some caddis, some blue wings, smaller brown streamers and standard Mo nymphs. The lower sections have been a bit more lonely than up top, so if you’re anti-social, there’s a place for you!  Outstanding fishing on the Mo right now, now 2 ways about it!

1/2 OFF Fridays.  50% Off your 1st dozen nymphs and dries!  Every Friday – Every Week

FLIES: Griffith’s gnats 16-20, zebras, baetis parachutes, March brown button emergers and Lawson/Quigly cripples.  Skwala/dropper rigs lower on the river, lightening bugs, RS2, p-tails, scuds, and streamers in muted colors.
