Missouri Report – 5/24

DSC_0881 The flow below Holter this morning is 4120 – exactly what it has been for the past four days.  The Mo keeps giving up insanely good fishing these days, and it doesn’t matter whether you’re a dryfly, streamer or nymph chucker, it’s all working! Looks like you could be dealing with a bit more wind today, but nothing out of the Missouri ordinary.  Skwalas, March browns, some caddis, some blue wings, smaller brown streamers and standard Mo nymphs are the no-brainers. While you’ll probably see some people over here with the same idea you had, (and mostly on the upper river), there’s plenty of room to spread out and LOTS of willing fish!

1/2 OFF Fridays.  50% Off your 1st dozen nymphs and dries!  Every Friday – Every Week

FLIES: Griffith’s gnats 16-20, zebras, baetis parachutes, March brown button emergers and Lawson/Quigly cripples.  Skwala/dropper rigs lower on the river, lightening bugs, RS2, p-tails, scuds, and streamers in muted colors.
