Missouri Report – 6/13

L-7 Today’s rainy weather should do good things for your Missouri prospects both on top and subsurface.  Look for a bit better fishing in the morning now, than we’ve been seeing the past week in the heat.  Streamers and nymphs should also be more consistent throughout the day as well.  The majority of the bug activity has been lower on the river recently, but clouds and lack of wind should make about any stretch below the dam a very good choice today.  Mix things up until you get dialed in.  Everything from mayfly/dropper rigs, to cinnamon brown streamers should take fish for you.  If you’re just after collecting numbers, the smaller tailwater nymph  tandem rigs will keep you bent pretty much all day long.  Pink or gray scuds, lightning bugs, RS2s, etc.  Today will be a good day on the Mo!

1/2 OFF Fridays.  50% Off your 1st dozen nymphs and dries!  Every Friday – Every Week

FLIES: Griffith’s gnats 16-20, zebras, baetis (belatedly) parachutes,  button emergers and Lawson/Quigly cripples.  attractor/dropper rigs lower on the river, lightening bugs, RS2, p-tails, scuds, and streamers in muted colors.
