Missouri Report – 9/26

Looks like a bit of wind on tap for today, but by Missouri standards, it’s not a day killer.  Your best bet over here is still the tandem nymph setup as we await the more robust hatches of October to arrive.  That being said, there are still fish will to take generic mayfly offerings and even the occasional ant or hopper.  The streamerheads are beginning to smile a bit more with the recent cool down and cloud cover.  Small crayfish looking/rootbeer colored bugger type stuff has been good as have some of the larger articulated Gallop streamers in dark colors.

1/2 OFF Fridays.  50% Off your 1st dozen nymphs and dries!  Every Friday – Every Week

FLIES: Elk hairs, comparaduns, tricos, standard para Adams in a 14-18, hoppers in a 10 or 12, dark colored streamers, soft hackles, the traditional bevvy of tailwater nymphs including zebras, rs2s, beerheads, lighting bugs, scuds, red San Juans . . .

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Lots more elbow room over here these days.
