Missouri River Fishing Report – 10/30

Guided Float trips on the Missouri with The Kingfisher Fly Shop

Out on the Missouri, streamer fishing is a lot of fun, nymph fishing is old reliable, and dry fly fishing is marginal. The hope is that the November weather will finally get the late-fall hatches going. For dry flies, use cripples, standard Adams parachutes, midge clusters, elk hair caddis, parachute baetis, baetis button emergers, and small flying ants. For subsurface, stick with sow bugs, czech nymphs, caddis pupae, scuds, small PTs, lightning bugs and micro mayflies. For streamers, throw something flashy, Coffee’s sparkle minnow, J.J.’s Special, Sex Dungeons.
