Missouri River Fishing Report – 4/14

Missouri River Fishing Report - 4/14
REPORTS: Beginning in April, once a week we will post a brief description of a rig we saw during the previous week that had one of our Kingfisher stickers on the window. When you recognize it as being your car described in our hatch report, stop into the shop and pick out 2 dozen nymphs or dries on us!!The Mo is up about 200 cfs in the past 48 hours and is now running about 7240 cfs below Holter.  The fishing remains VERRRRRRY good over here if you don’ t mind going subsurface.  While the streamer fishing is flip flopping between mediocre and epic, the indicator nymping has been silly.  Count on the standard Missouri spring fare to get it done for you right now working the slower, quieter water with pinks, reds and grays.
HATCHES: midges
FLIES: Griffith’s gnats 16-20, lighting bugs, RS2, p-tails, scuds, Pink Amex, Pink Scuds, Glow BugsADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Probably one of the best river options in the state right now. Tailwater happiness!
