Missouri River Fishing Report – 6/10

Bitterroot Fishing Report - 4/4
There have been good reports from the Missouri in the last few days. With the flows having dropped significantly down to about 5000cfs, it’s no longer only a boat game. Wade fishing is wide open now, and definitely worth your time. Standard Missouri nymphing is the best bet, but there have pods of fish on all stretches of the river eating BWOs and caddis. For dry flies, we’re looking at small purple hazes, midge clusters, elk hair caddis, parachute baetis, baetis button emergers and small flying ants. For subsurface, stick with sow bugs, czech nymphs, caddis pupae, scuds, small PTs and lightning bugs.
