Missouri River Fishing Report – 6/17

Missouri River Fishing Report - 4/3

 L-TUBEE-5
While management tries to fill up the lakes in the Missouri chain, the flows below Holter are holding steady around 4500cfs, which is ideal for wade fishing and fishing from a boat this time of year. There have been pods of fish on all stretches of the river eating BWOs and caddis. For dry flies, we’re looking at small purple hazes, midge clusters, elk hair caddis, parachute baetis, baetis button emergers and small flying ants. For subsurface, stick with sow bugs, czech nymphs, caddis pupae, scuds, small PTs and lightning bugs.
