Rock Creek Report – 6/21

S-11REPORT:

Life goes merrily along on the creek these days with lots of bugs out and about and lots of fish up (and under) looking for them.  Drakes, PMDs, golden stones, caddis, it’s all good right now.  More cloud cover today means more predictably good topwater action with decent nymphing and streamer fishing as well.  Larger cripple patterns (size 10)  have been working well for us up here as have button emergers and larger parachutes.  When the sun does manage to peek out, golden stones in about all sizes are getting the fish to play.  You’ll start seeing caddis later in the day and on warm evenings, they’ll keep the fishing going almost ’till dark.

1/2 OFF Fridays.  50% Off your 1st dozen nymphs and dries!  Every Friday – Every Week

FLIES: Salmonfly dries of all kinds, golden stones patterns from giant to yellow sallie varieties, green drakes, caddis

OTHER INFO: More summer patterns arriving weekly. Stop into the shop and Missoula’s best fly selection.
