The weatherman says that today will be chilly, but it’s hard to know what to believe anymore. These 70-degree October days are throwing me off. Just know that, regardless of the weather, Rock Creek is fishing quite well, and is worth your time this fall. For dry flies, use mahoganies, chubby Chernobyls, stimulators, BWOs, parachute adams, purple hazes, elk hair caddis, and para wulffs. For sub surface patterns use micro stones, pheasant tails, Pat’s rubber legs, San Juan Worms, caddis pupae, double beaded stones and batman nymphs.
