Rock Creek Fishing Report – 10/23

L-DSCN2019

Don’t be surprised to see more rain and chill today; things have finally turned fall. Streamers, small mayflies, and nymphs should be your weaponry. For dry flies, use mahoganies, chubby Chernobyls, stimulators, BWOs, parachute adams, purple hazes, elk hair caddis, and para wulffs. For sub surface patterns use micro stones, pheasant tails, Pat’s rubber legs, San Juan Worms, caddis pupae, double beaded stones and batman nymphs.
